it's been a while since i've sat down to post anything.
with the passing of such a good friend of mine, it's been hard to think about anything but. i can't stop thinking about bunny, luke and the girls. my heart aches and i'm brought to tears knowing that their mama is now in heaven. i have been constantly reminded of how quickly things can change and how the menial things in life just aren't as important any more.
as i was getting ready before the viewing, max asked me if i was going to a wedding. i replied that i was going to say good-bye to bunny. he wanted to know where she was going and i explained that she was going to go back to Heavenly Father. max quietly responded with, "do you think she'll say hi to my sister rylee?"
it's unfortunate that something as tragic as the passing of such an amazing person brings us all back together and to put everything in to perspective.
as with my own experience, i know that as people begin going back to 'normalcy', now is the time that will be the hardest for luke so we need to keep him in our prayers and thoughts and continuously talk about the beautiful memories and inspirations bunny has left for us.
these were the beautiful programs that were given out at the funeral. what a great tribute to her!

becky, this is a beautiful post. i was in bunny's graduating class at brighton and i recognize the beautiful women in that photo. she is loved and although i didn't know bunny well, i knew she was a very neat person. i'm sorry for your loss of such a special friend. i found your blog after searching for bunny's story after i heard the news. thank you for writing. i hope you'll continue to be a special person in the lives of those beautiful children. you seem like a really wonderful friend.

What a great post Becks. I can't stop thinking about Bunny and her family either, such a huge tragedy. Bunny has definitely made me want to be a better person. What a sweet comment from Max, brought tears to my eyes when reading it. Love all of you cute girls in that picture!
Those programs are an absolute treasure. Death is so bittersweet. I do so appreciate the way it quickly teaches you what really matters. But it's so heartbreaking that we must learn this way. I will keep them in our prayers.
What a beautiful post. I heard her service was such a great tribute. I didn't know her very well, but I can't stop thinking about it all. So sad.
Thanks for the great post and pic becks! Loved spending time with you through all of that. Even if it was just a little. Love Max's comment. You know he is right:) I love you!
